instant input November 23, 2008 Valerie L. Mortensen (shaver lake, ca) Cesar's Way Deck is a great way for a quick find without having to look through pages in the book. It has been very handy.
Cesar Card Deck November 14, 2008 Rita V. Morrison I bought these for my granddaughter who is trying to work with a wide open black lab puppy in the city. They are good for her since she can use them for specific things that arise. So yes they do have their use. Of course she watches the program plus I own all the books so far and she has read all of those. She is doing a good job with wide open Rufus. One of the things that made Rufus wake up and pay attention more was giving him a job. They live in an appartment complex not far from major highways. Rufus is now 1 year old so he can needs to be calmed down a bit. His job is to take all the neighbors and their trash to the dumpster every day. She made a cart like thing for him. He loves it and looks forward to doing this daily. Works for Rufus and also makes gives him the oportunity to make friends with the neighbors. This works out great since this gives him the opportunity to visit with different folks every day and they are all happy to see Rufus come to get their trash. This family of animals consists of "Whitey" the one eyed ferret (pack leader) and also "Crazy Eddie" the cat that goes with Rufus to the dumpster.Works for Rufus and the neighbors. Rita
Same Message Repeated 50 Ways November 3, 2008 Cheryl A. Garland (Alexandria, LA) Same answer for every issue... tire out your dog. Okay, most of us don't have personal trainers to teach our dogs how to run on a treadmill and some of us even have dogs with more energy than us. How about something a little bit more in depth and than exercize your dog for 2 hours... Luckily this item was cheap but not worth the money at that. Sorry Cesar but disappointed.
That's the Idea - We Are Lazier and Busier Than Ever August 16, 2008 Kevin Salem (Sacramento, USA) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
As a dog psychologist and being an author myself, the concept behind this book is simply--practicality--and making it easy and fun on the eye. You wouldn't know it unless you are a writer or even better, have your own book published. You'll be amazed how many times I told my clients, "Yes. I have covered it in the book. It is in chapter fifteen, page 217, second paragraph and blah blah blah." Well, you get the idea. Sadly, not everyone reads or can make the time to read. This one won't get you that lost. So I agree the information isn't new, but the concept is. This is because we are lazier and busier than ever and cards sometimes make more sense. You stick it on the fridge and can remind yourself over and over again. Hey Cesar, you owe me one. :-) Kevin "The Dog Prodigy" Author of, "Hidden Secrets Behind Dog Training" - Revealing the Best & Worst Ways to Train Your Dog. (Soon-to-be Available on Amazon)
