As a physician, I always like to understand the issues facing my patients. There are many things I have wondered about with my beloved dogs. Well, now Arden Moore has given me a paw up on all the things I wondered about with dog behaviors. If you only could have one dog book, make it this one. I give it five stars and a big paws up. Thanks to Arden Moore for another insightful book on dog ownership. She really understands the state of mind of dogs and relays her advice in a fun and informative way. The book is filled with cute stories and I especially enjoyed the Q & A format in the book. Who has not had those moments when you look at your dog and say "what is my ziggy thinking???" This book is a great read, very informative and I really look forward to Arden Moore's next project. Thanks again Arden!

If your new pet is exhibiting puzzling behaviors, it's time to get a copy of The Dog Behavior Answer Book - which should also be in the holdings of any serious public lending library. It offers a question/answer format for quick lookup and covers everything from destructive behaviors to funny quirks of habit, providing dog owners with plenty of psychological insights into dog habits, needs, and reactions. It's much more than just one-paragraph insights: pages of explanation explore the psyche of the dog and how it relates to its world.

What has great information, a stylish layout, lovely illustrations, terrific advice, cool bytes (bites?) of doggy trivia, all grounded with common sense and a dash of humor? Arden Moore's THE DOG BEHAVIOR ANSWER BOOK is all that and more. Can't wait to see the "cat" version in the Spring!

What a great way to learn how to better communicate with our dogs, and why it is they do what they do. This book addresses some quality questions with in-depth answers that help develop that strong bond with Fido. Arden's writing style packages useful information in a fun and entertaining way.
